Amy earned her MPH from the Colorado School of Public Health in 2013 in Community and Behavioral Health and her BA in Philosophy in 2007. Amy’s masters capstone project explored the rebuilding of tobacco control in Colorado with the return of Amendment 35 funding.
Prior to joining the Center for Public Health Practice, Amy worked in the Colorado Medicaid program administering health programs for vulnerable and mental health populations. She has worked in tobacco control at a statewide level informing technical assistance and designing professional trainings, surveys and evaluation reports.
Mrs. Ryan is a member of the Colorado Public Health Association and serves as technical lead of the Colorado Healthy Housing Coalition. Amy is especially passionate about secondhand smoke education as well as education and outreach around the home and work environment.
