Heather Kennedy received her Masters of Public Health degree from the Colorado School of Public Health in 2010 in Community and Behavioral Health. Heather has been providing technical assistance and training to youth, youth-serving organizations, schools, and adult allies in tobacco control, youth advocacy, and youth engagement for over eight years.
She has a variety of experience in building coalitions, scaffolding appropriate exposures and activities to increase coalition member's capacity, and passing local tobacco control policies in municipalities across the state.
Her passion for youth engagement stems from her involvement in youth leadership programs and tobacco control as a young person. Ms. Kennedy also has qualitative and quantitative research experience advancing the science for Creative Arts Therapies.
